Brainwashed® is a limited apparel drop consisting of a totebag, t-shirt and envelope, all of which are hand designed and screen printed for the project. The focus of the work is on handmade printing using screen printing screens, with its corresponding treatment of emulsion and insolation prior to printing them.
For my proposal, I chose the word "brainwashed" as a nod to my group of friends, in which we use this word to describe our state after a hard day's work.
The central illustration of the t-shirts is done by hand in ProCreate, where it is given the traditional worn comic look.
The project was marketed through social networks in order to cover the expenses of the workshop, giving priority to orders from close friends and family.
Finally, labels adapted to the project were designed for the clothing, indicating the size; and the envelopes, which would include the information of those who were able to obtain it on time.
